SUCCESS STORIES
Here are some successful stories of my past and present clients
Gemma Korff
Ironman Triathlete, Marathon Runner
“Louise’s classes and videos are amazing! I’ve been going to her classes for almost 2 years and she’s very knowledgeable and able to adjust any pose to make it more manageable (or in most cases more challenging!). I’m now equipped with tools to manage stress, fatigue and niggles with just 30 mins of yoga flows. I’m feeling relaxed and much more supple. Thanks!”
GEMMA’S STORY
Triathlon England key worker of 2020, Gemma is an inspirational triathlete, respiratory physiotherapist, and a working mum to two boys. She has competed at multiple ironman events and marathons including IM Austria and London Marathon. She says yoga has helped her improve her bike position and overall strength and posture. It has helped mend a heel injury which she struggled with for over a year and practicing yoga has also give her the head space to relax and take time away from the stresses of family, work and training. She says, “yoga is a perfect link between mental and physical health”.
DAVID DYER
Duathlete, long distance cyclist
“Ever since I began Louise's classes as a total beginner I have found her instructions very easy to follow, clear and simply explained. The classes are also relaxing and provide a good opportunity to switch off from other things going on”.
DAvid’s STORY
David is a veteran long distance cyclist and duathlete who completed the 1200km Paris-Brest-Paris ride and won his age group at the European Duathlon Championship in Transylvania in 2019. Louise's classes have helped his ability to cope with long rides and a heavy training schedule at an age when many become less active without enduring so many aches and pains. It has also improved his posture.
MORE SUCCESS STORIES
“Louise is brilliant at what she does. I love that I can come to her class wound up and leave relaxed. She has helped my core and has helped me to learn to look after my body better after training. Highly, highly recommend her classes.”
Donna James, Triathlete
“Louise zoom yoga classes for triathletes are brilliant . I have thoroughly enjoyed the past few weeks and shall continue to log on . Louise explains all of the poses perfectly and the hour whizzes smoothly by. Feel so relaxed and stretched after each session .”
Karen Cleminson, Triathlete & Runner
“I’ve done yoga with many different instructors, but I have never had any that are so suited to my needs as Louise’s. Obviously focusing on triathletes, the lessons are perfect for recovery, relaxation and building core strength. I especially like the way she explains the poses so I can get the best out of the lesson.”
NICK CLARKE, Triathlete
“As a keen and competitive runner for the past 40 years, I have paid little attention to my flexibility and mobility, paying the inevitable price with recurring yet avoidable injuries, niggles and strains. This year was no different, however “lockdown” provided me the opportunity to join Louise’s online yoga classes and I can honestly say that the benefits have been remarkable. Not only am I running injury free for the first time in ages, but also that hour of mindfulness, listening to Louise’s calming dulcet tones, is therapy in itself.”
David Smith, Runner & Duathlete
“Louise is a great Vinyasa yoga teacher. She runs very enjoyable sometimes challenging classes which allow you to deepen your practice. She also gives her students a lot of attention during the class which I really like. I highly recommend her classes!”
Christel Thimont
“Yoga did me wonders, going to prioritize your classes.”
April Edwards, Multiple Ironman finisher Triathlete
"Thought I’d tell you how much we all appreciate your time and effort in doing the yoga classes. Also they are BRILLIANT sessions. What I particularly like about yours is:
a) your instructions are really clear
b) you keep talking, reminding us what to do / where we should be feeling it / where we might need to focus. Invariably you remind me about something I’m doing wrong.
c) you speak English! Nothing is worse than teachers who insist on telling you what to so in Sanskrit or Yoga-language, when what we understand is “down dog” or “runner’s lunge”."
Julia Hodkinson, triathlete, European and World AQUABIKE Champion
“Some clubs have a resident DJ. We’ve got a resident Yoga teacher.”
Berkshire Tri Squad
Loved your class tonight, I’ve had a few hard days training and now I feel like everything is back in place!
It’s the sporty class I particularly like. I can’t tell you how good I feel!
Jacqui Phillips, Multiple Age Group World and European Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon Champion
“Louise !!! Thanks so much for the YOGA session. I have never been a fan and avoid it like the plague , but this session was just what I need. I am having a trouble with Sciatica, tight hammy, glute and piraformis , I feel more opened up now in the hip and and pelvis area . ”
