Hi, I’m Louise
I help modern athletes enhance their performance and every day lives by introducing yoga into their training
WORLD CHAMPION, EU medalist, multiple-time British champion & top age-group triathlete AND AQUALETE
MY STORY
I got started in triathlon and yoga later in life. I was working as an accountant in London when I started training. I realised then that I’d found something I really loved. But, at the time, I could not make it work. I got injured time and again. I’d spend weeks out of training. The first time I got injured, I had this voice in my head telling me it wasn’t worth it, I was wasting my time. I convinced myself that my body wasn't going to work the same as some of the younger, more experienced competitors.
The story I was telling myself held me back for a second. But, I loved it. I loved the experience of competing, training and I had enough desire to remain competitive that I believed I could do it.
After I got serious, I tried and failed one more time, and in that moment of disillusionment, I found how to incorporate yoga into my daily life and training regime.
YOGA WAS REALLY THE ANSWER
I had cracked it, I figured out a way to make flexibility and mobility part of my training routine using yoga without taking time that I didn’t have. And it worked.
Although I attribute discovering yoga to my competitive successes, the real gift has been the level of peace and focus it brings to my life and to race days.
No longer do I have that negative inner voice telling me it’s not possible, or I should slow down as I age. In actual fact, I’m only getting faster, feeling fitter and mentally stronger than ever before in my life.
This is why I say if there is a fountain of youth for triathletes, then yoga is it.

TRAINING BACKGROUND
I'm proud to say that I’ve represented Great Britain in Triathlon and Aquathlon since 2010, with over 20 starts as part of team GB.
I started this journey in my early thirties as an antidote to work stress, London life and a desire to get fitter and healthier.
I was not only able to do that, but have gone on to win many medals and a World Champion aquathlon age group title in 2021. Including two European Silver & Bronze medals at triathlon and aquathlon. I am a National Age Group Aquathlon champion and winner of the national Champion standard distance title 3 times.
All of this was about getting fitter…. Little did I know where it would lead.
So WHATS MY SECRET?
Well, one of my secrets is yoga. Surprise! Flexibility, mobility, active recovery and mindset work have been essential to my success on and off the race circuit.
I took my 200hr yoga teacher training because I felt called to help other triathletes in this way.
The other secret is that I am a firm believer in working with experts to help me improve on every level. I’ve worked with former Olympians, former Team GB coaches, and current age group champion coaches.
MY MISSION FOR YOU
My mission with this work is to inspire modern athletes who take their sport seriously, to think differently about how they train, compete and live.
Getting older, or starting later, is without doubt challenging in endurance sports. It does not have to stop you. This way of training will improve your performance, your body AND your life. Even when you’re not competing, running, swimming or out for long rides. You do not need to suffer those frequent aches, pains and injuries.
You can get fitter, faster and stronger as you age.
